Star Citizen

Not to purchase on StarShipDealers. But you need an RSI account to claim and use items (and a game pack to play).

You receive an RSI e-mail with link/code. While logged in on the correct RSI account, click to claim. Check spam folders.

Yes. StarShipDealers is an independent marketplace that facilitates safe, off-site player-to-player trades. We use escrow, proof-of-delivery rules, and delivery via available in-game/RSI mechanisms (e.g., gifting where applicable). RSI does not support third-party transactions; if anything arises, our support team handles it. StarShipDealers is not affiliated with CIG/RSI.

Upgrades & CCU

Upgrade: one-way conversion from a source ship/variant to a target. CCU: older term for these upgrades.

Yes. RSI e-mails show the package name, not always the final contents. Check your RSI hangar details.

Use filters and our guides (paths, costs, LTI, variants). For multi-step chains, wait until you have all steps before binding them to your RSI account.

Yes, Lifetime Insurance transfers during an upgrade.

No. The source is replaced by the target after conversion.

Yes. Purchase the item then forward the RSI e-mail (without clicking). The recipient claims it using their RSI account.
